Rock Dust on Youtube

Rock dust being used in Scotland at the Seer Centre have produced fantastic vegetables and research results. The video can be viewed online

I think what is interesting is the use of Rock Dust in combination with compost to provide all the nitrogen, organic matter and trace elements required.

New Stores - Fleurieu Peninsula

James and I had a great day meeting Garden Store owners south of Adelaide. Morgan Park (near Victor Harbour) and Ibis Siding (Goolwa) are now stocking FCRD. Both had heard about us and very interested to see a natural product available with such a high dose of minerals.

We head north next week to meet growers in the Gawler and Virginia region.

FCRD Grape Trial Results

Most of our grape trials for the 2008/09 growing season have been completed with excellent results displayed state wide. Overall, vines treated with FCRD showed a 17% average increase in grape bunch weight when compared to untreated vines. Results collected so far have been collected from 21 different trials located in SA’s major grape producing areas including the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, the Adelaide Hills, Langhorne Creek and the Riverland. Baume tests, which examine nutrient levels, also revealed an increase in Total Soluble Sugars in FCRD treated grapes as a result of the observed increase in bunch weight.

These successful trial results demonstrate FCRD’s ability to significantly increase grape yields without compromising grape quality. Full results of all 2008/09 grape trials are available on the link below.
